The new hospital wing made of high-quality prefabricated parts
The new building unit at the Vejle Hospital in Denmark is located in the beautiful Vejle Ådal and the picturesque landscape is an important element in the architectural design. The building totals 17,400 sqm and is set over two storeys. The building costs of the new building unit of the Velje hospital amount to approximately 57,8 Mio. Euro. It was completed in February 2017.
Contiga Tinglev A/S has delivered all the concrete elements to the building, such as the supporting pillars for the footbridge and the round pillars indoors. They supplied 14,000 sqm of concrete walls and 24,000 sqm of hollow for the project. The company produces precast concrete elements and is a pioneer in its field in Denmark. Contiga Tinglev A/S is also the market leader in the concrete precast parts sector and has the largest concrete factory in the country.
